22917 Associate Professor (Pharmacy)

The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Health Outcomes and Policy at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor located on any of the three campuses in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville. Our faculty members are engaged in competitive research and the education and training of professional and graduate students, fellows, and post-doctoral trainees. Our campus-wide, inter-professional Ph.D. program in Health Outcomes and Policy Research involves faculty members in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, dentistry, and allied health.

Applications will be accepted from individuals with expertise in pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy administration, epidemiology, health care policy, and health care finance/health economics as well as other related fields. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Behavior/Education, Health Policy, Public Health, Social and Administrative Pharmacy or an equivalent degree. Candidates with a professional doctoral degree (e.g., PharmD, DNP, MD) with postgraduate training, or a research track record in a closely related area will also be considered. Candidates with existing, or a record of, federally funded research programs are preferred and highly encouraged to apply. Although a senior-level faculty member is preferred, exceptional early-career candidates will also be considered. Applicant must have a commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.
