The School of Pharmacy prides itself on producing graduates with the broad range of skills required to fulfill the vital role of pharmacist. We require two(2) enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturers in Clinical Pharmacy Practice to join our successful academic staff. The School of Pharmacy is in the process of re-invigorating what is already a well-regarded programme to produce a new, fully integrated undergraduate curriculum. We’re looking for academics with a passion for innovation in teaching and research to make a major contribution to the School. The successful applicants will be expected to teach and coordinate courses in Clinical Pharmacy Practice at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; to undertake original research and secure external funding; and to supervise research students towards Honors, Masters and Doctoral degrees. There is the opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and learning with Nursing, Medicine, Optometry, and the Medical and Health Sciences as appropriate. The successful candidates will have a PhD in a relevant subject, and will be expected to develop their own successful research programme, in collaboration with established research networks within the School of Pharmacy, the parent Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences and beyond. The School of Pharmacy has a successful postgraduate research programme and supervision of postgraduate research students also forms an integral part of this role. This is a full time, permanent academic position.
