Established in 2006, the Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS) aims to meet the United Arab Emirates' growing need for skilled healthcare professionals. The College has a vision to be a major contributor to the hospital workforce and health system development in the UAE.

FCHS is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research nationally and is internationally benchmarked through Griffith and Monash Universities in Australia. The College will also offer Higher Diploma and Bachelor degrees in different Health Sciences Specialties including Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Imaging and Paramedics.

The Pharmacy Program at Fatima College of Health Sciences, in partnership with Monash University in Australia, was established in 2012 and is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and expansion in two campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The Pharmacy Program offers one of the world’s strongest Pharmacy curricula which, uses teaching-learning approaches that emphasize greatly on outcome competencies of the graduates. Our curriculum is patient centered and introduces the students to Pharmacy Practice at an early stage and is enriched with a good number of Clinical Pharmacy courses.  We are committed to graduating students who will meet the country’s need for health care professionals who can provide safe, effective and quality service to the patients.

There is a number of vacancies available in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses as the Pharmacy Program is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the positions of Faculty, Senior Lecturers, Lecturers and Laboratory Technicians.

For Teaching Faculty Members and Lecturers Positions:

• Interested candidates should have a PhD degree in any of the following disciplines [Clinical Pharmacy/ Pharmacy Practice/ Pharmaceutics/ Clinical Pharmacology/ Pharmacology along with a minimum of two years of teaching experience after gaining the PhD degree.

Teaching Faculty duties include but, not limited to:

• Covering all the Teaching and Learning activities (lectures, tutorials, workshops, labs, clinical sessions, etc.) as planned in the curriculum.
• Course coordination.
• Designing and implementing assessment.
• Contributing to Curriculum review.
• Contributing to Program and Institutional committees.
• Participating in student Practical Placement supervision.
• Mentoring students.

For Pharmacy lab Technician Positions:

• Interested candidates should have a Master degree in any of the following disciplines: [Pharmaceutics/ Microbiology/ Pharmacy Practice].

Duties of the Pharmacy lab technician include but, not limited to:

• Preparation of lab materials/instruments need to perform labs.
• Performance of user maintenance of the lab instruments.
• Preparing and maintenance of accurate and up to date lab inventory.
• Placing orders for lab related items (consumables, instruments, and equipment).
