The main responsibilities will be to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program with clinical oversight of undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities in service and scholarship are required. Georgia Baptist College of Nursing is located on Mercer University's Cecil B. Day Campus in Atlanta, GA and is one of four academic units within the Mercer Health Sciences Center. The campus is located within close proximity to multiple acute care hospitals, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other healthcare and academic institutions. The Atlanta area provides an ideal environment for cultural and intellectual stimulation and fosters interprofessional education among Mercer Health Sciences Center students and faculty. Qualifications A Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited college/university is required. A doctoral degree strongly preferred. An unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia is also required. Additionally, experience in a 4-year academic university setting is required. Consideration for rank above Clinical Instructor can be made for earned doctoral degree with academic teaching experience and associated scholarship and research track record.
