Instructor/Assistant Professor of Medicine Duquesne University, School of Health Sciences
The John G. Rangos, Sr. School of Health Sciences is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant to join the faculty of our fully-accredited, entry-level master's degree Physician Assistant Studies Program beginning July 1, 2016. Responsibilities include classroom teaching, student advising, participation in Departmental and University events, evaluation of student performance, demonstration of clinical skills and research participation and publications.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a non-tenure track position . Listed among the top 10 Catholic Universities by U.S. News and World Report, Duquesne Univeristy is a coeducational, comprehensive university with approximately 10,000 students located on a private 50-acre campus in the heart of Pittsburgh. Qualifications Required qualifications include a Master's degree, previous university teaching experience, knowledge of the ARC-PA Accreditation Standards for Physician Assistant Education, current state licensure (or eligibility), and willingness to participate in research. Preference will be given to candidates with doctoral degree, prior publishing history and current research agenda.
