Founded in 1897, Zhejiang University (ZJU) is the most comprehensive leading university in China, with distinctive features and high reputations in education and research. As one of the oldest public health institutes in China, Zhejiang University School of Public Health (ZJUSPH) is committed to outstanding teaching, research, practice, and services in public health and related disciplines. The main disciplines of the school include Epidemiology & Health Statistics, Environmental Medicine, Social Medicine, Nutrition & Food Hygiene, Toxicology In order to promote public health science, address growing social needs, and integrate the multidisciplinary advantages of the university, ZJUSPH is now seeking talents for assistant, associate, and full professor levels with research interests in public health, including (but not limited to) epidemiology and biostatistics; chronic disease genetic susceptibility and its prevention; occupational and environmental health; toxicology; nutrition and food hygiene; psychology and behavioural sciences; community health, global health, public health emergency, and health policy and management; and other relevant fields in public health. Interdisciplinary researchers in life sciences with interest in public health are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should have doctoral degrees in public health, clinical/basic medicine, or life sciences with strong research background. Applicants at the level of associate professor or above with tenure and experience teaching abroad, are particularly encouraged to apply.
