Tenure Track Position in Human Nutrition National University of Singapore, Department of Nutrition
The Food Science and Technology (FST) Programme, Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applicants for a tenure-track position in the area of Human Nutrition at the level of assistant professor or associate professor.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Human Nutrition or Food Science & Technology (research focus must be on human nutrition), from a reputable university. A first degree in Human Nutrition is preferred. Postdoctoral experience of at least 2 years and outstanding track record of scholarly publications in refereed journals are required. Previous experience in human clinical, nutritional or dietary studies is of particular interest. Relevant experience in sensory science is desirable, although not essential. Appointee will be expected to establish an independent research program that can compete strongly for external funding. In addition, the appointee is expected to guide research students, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate subjects. Selection will be based on applicant's track record of relevant accomplishments and potential for outstanding future contributions. The Food Science and Technology Programme offers courses leading to B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), Masters by research and PhD degrees.
