Overview:
The Professor of Prosthodontics will build upon Griffith’s already strong program of dental and oral health courses and develop clinical and research partnerships aimed at improving health and community care through the health professions.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast Campus.
The role:
You will be part of The School of Dentistry & Oral Health’s academic team, and specifically will plan and lead prosthodontic education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct research, and undertake administrative duties. The Professor of Prosthodontics will support the Head of School in implementing the School’s Learning & Teaching and Research Plans and will be expected to advance research-informed clinical education and research within the School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
The person:
Provide effective leadership in developing and delivering undergraduate and graduate courses; and innovative approaches to teaching, research and scholarship; and management of the Prosthodontic discipline. Provide valuable mentorship to staff, and actively contribute to teaching within the School.
Salary range:
A salary package that includes a base professorial salary of $169,779 per annum and an employer superannuation contribution of 17% of base salary will be offered. Attractive salary packaging arrangements are also available.
