Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery Queen Mary University of London, Institute of Dentistry
We are delighted to invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Clinical Lecturer in the Oral Surgery Unit within the Institute of Dentistry, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. We are keen to attract an enthusiastic individual to undertake both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The post holder should have experience in a range of clinical procedures in oral surgery and possess the ability to communicate their own knowledge and experience to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will contribute fully to the organisation and delivery of clinical teaching within the Oral Surgery Unit to undergraduate students, postgraduate students and dental hygienists/therapists, including clinical supervision, seminars and lectures. Applicants should have full registration with the General Dental Council and should have evidence of continuing professional education. Formal postgraduate training in Oral Surgery would be an advantage. The post is part-time and permanent starting as soon as possible. Starting salary will be in the range £32,771 - £34,322 per annum (pro rata) inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave (if part-time – pro rata), defined benefit pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loan and family-friendly working. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
