About Anglia Ruskin University: Anglia Ruskin (ARU) is a vibrant, modern and ambitious University gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. Our campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment of over £122m. With an annual turnover of £200m, ARU is a major force for higher education in the East of England. We are proud of the lifelong relationships formed by those who work and study with us, and of the friendly atmosphere – which visitors quickly identify as unusual for such a large organisation. We were proud to be pronounced Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2014. About the role: We’ve commenced the process to develop an undergraduate medical course at our Chelmsford campus. We’re looking for a Head of School of Medicine, who’ll be responsible for leading this new development, in addition to providing strategic oversight to enhance and develop our existing postgraduate medical education and research activities. In order to lead and develop this exciting initiative, you’ll need to have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the Higher Education and health environment.
