Full Professor of Veterinary Pharmacotherapy and Pharmacy (1.0 fte) Description and position of the Chair The Chair of Veterinary Pharmacotherapy & Pharmacy (VPP) is a full time position at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University. The chair holder is responsible for all education and research in veterinary pharmacotherapy and pharmacy as well as the consultancy of the clinical pharmacy unit. Apart from the Chair, the unit currently consists of assistant professors, a junior lecturer (resident ECVPT/PhD candidate), technicians and clinical pharmacists. The Chair will be positioned within the Toxicology and Pharmacology Division (headed by prof. dr. Martin van den Berg) of the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS), which is a department of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The Veterinary Pharmacy is a joint business unit of the three clinical departments of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (department of Clinical Sciences of Companion Animals, department of Equine Sciences, department of Farm Animal Health). The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine considers expertise and innovation in the field of Veterinary Pharmacotherapy and Pharmacy to be cornerstones in high quality clinical practice and invaluable in the education and training of veterinary students at BSc and MSc level. Offer We offer a full-time permanent position. The gross salary varies, depending on previous qualifications and experience, between EUR 5.219,- and EUR 7.599,- gross per month (full time appointment in scale H2 of the Collective Labour Agreement of the Dutch Universities). Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8 % and a year-end bonus of 8.3 % per year.
