The research line is a special offer for medicine and dentistry students who are interested in research and who can think of a future research career. It is hosted on annual admissions to 17 students, equivalent to approximately 10% of medical students and two dentists at the faculty. The students in the research field follow a regular study. The special offer is that scholarly students receive an organized research training as well, and perform their own research activity with the writing of research assignments that may be the start of one PhD degree.

Løn

The associate's salary is paid after salary step 59-62 (code 8028 / salary frame 24.3-24.6) in the salary regulation to the state, for now NOK 508 800 - 537 700 per. year gross for full employment, and further promotion occurs after tenant seniority. For highly qualified applicants, it may be appropriate to consider higher pay.

qualifications

The host must have medical or dental education, doctorate in medical or dentistry or equivalent competence. Furthermore, there is a requirement for documented scientific competence in accordance with the competence requirements for scientific positions at the Faculty of Medicine.

 

It will be worthwhile to take part in a series of research papers, including follow-up talks, the development of research projects, the coordination of research activities and the robustness of research strategy work. It will furthermore add value to proven willingness and ability to cooperate.

 

The teaching language is usually Norwegian.

The host is obliged to take part in teaching and examinations, including mid-term evaluations according to the curriculum, as debt for a remaining period of time and without remuneration to comply with the changes that would have to be approved by law regarding the profession, pension scheme and age limit.

The host assigned to the position, together with the researcher, shall be responsible for administration, guidance, teaching and examinations in relation to researchers on research, as well as planning and conducting other research activities.

 

The work required motivation and enthusiasm for research recruitment, follow-up and guidance of students and interest in study development work. Knowledge of and interest in the faculty's research education offerings, different research environments and various research methods will be useful for closing the position.

 

The host may be responsible for various research education activities, courses, evaluation work and study work.

 

It is desirable, but not a requirement that the host appointed himself may be the director of the researcher.
