Department The
Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology (CLINTEC) has its main activity in Campus Flemingsberg adjacent to Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. Activities are also available at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna and on the Campus area in Solna. There are 14 units and one section at CLINTEC. The activities include clinical research, education and development.

We work in an international and multicultural environment with undergraduate students, graduate students, exchange students in the ERASMUS program, postdoctoral researchers, teachers and researchers at Karolinska Institutet, as well as organizations with common visions of excellence in research, education and development

CLINTEC has about 180 employees, as well as approximately 200 graduate students and 400 affiliated researchers and teachers.

Department
Research at the CLINTEC pediatric unit is relevant for the care of children at Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. An important area is obesity, which is common in children and is considered very difficult to treat. The hope stands for early interventions focusing on creating a health-promoting home environment. Evidence of efficacy of early treatment is still inadequate, especially for children from more socially vulnerable areas.

Tasks The
main tasks are recruitment and administration within the framework of the European Childhood Obesity Policy (STOP) project, which includes the implementation and evaluation of the Parental Program (MoM). MoM is a treatment for early obesity in children where the focus is on providing support in parenthood ( www.ki.se/merochmindre ). MoM has been evaluated in a randomized controlled study conducted in Stockholm County. The main task of the service is the recruitment of families with children in pre-school age to the project mainly from socially disadvantaged areas. In addition, administrative support and documentation are included to ensure quality assurance of project implementation.

Qualifications 
For this service we seek a dietitian, nutritionist, nurse or equivalent public health education with a genuine interest in child health. We want you to be driven, outgoing and self-employed, and good at working together and communicating as work requires contacts with healthcare professionals, child health care, families, and other research groups within and outside Sweden. You should be careful, structured and have experience in data collection and compilation of materials. Experience of having participated in research projects with children in the past is meritorious. The selection will be by a combined assessment of the documented qualifications, a work test will be carried out in connection with the interview.
