The College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University invites applications for pharmacy practice faculty positions. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels,a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the college of pharmacy.

Job Requirements
Participate in course teaching and development and in student guidance.
Develop sustainable research and scholarly activities.
Engage in departmental and institutional services.
Introduce clinical services in affiliated Academic Hospitals.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, and a PhD or Residency from accredited institutions.
Successful university teaching experience relevant to the academic rank.
Strong research record or potential for publications and research.
Experience in working with people from different ethnic backgrounds.
Previous experience as a preceptor
Excellent communication skills, a commitment to the importance of scholarship and diversity,a spirit of entrepreneurship and an understanding of the role of the university in economic development.
