The German Heart Center Munich of the Free State of Bavaria - Clinic at the Technical University of Munich - is looking for the Department of Cardiovascular Disease as soon as possible in full or part time a postdoc in Omics Analysis (m / f)
Your area of responsibility
At our modern center, we carry out translational research of the highest relevance to cardiology. You are working for our international study project Leducq with the following main focuses:
- Contact person for the other study centers and partners
- Collection and preparation of human vascular samples (embedding, cryosections, staining)
- Extraction of DNA and RNA
- Genomic analyzes
- Organization and control of the study execution
Your Profile
- Doctoral
Degree in Molecular Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or equivalent subject area -Experience in Extraction of DNA and RNA (Genetics)
- Experience in human pathology and histopathology of coronary vessels
- Experience in immunohistochemistry
- Accuracy and reliability, self-initiative, organizational
skills and a high degree of responsibility - Very good spoken and written English
- Strong interest in medicine and science
- High communication skills
- Teamwork
