About us
At the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine at the University of Otago, we work to understand why some people are healthy and some are not, how to prevent illness and injury, how people's health can be improved through working with communities, how political systems and health organisations affect health, and other issues relating to the health of populations.
The role
As a Teaching Fellow within our department, you will support teaching across a range of under-graduate and post-graduate public health courses. In the first instance these will be courses in health promotion, health systems, and/or healthy policy.
This will involve the preparation of learning materials, student support, as well as the delivery of some class discussions and tutorials. Additionally, you will also assist with assessment, reporting, and the management of electronic learning platforms related to public health teaching.
