Postdoctoral Positions in Machine Learning and Medical Imaging University of Bern Center for Biomedical Engineering Research

Multiple postdoctoral positions in Machine Learning and Medical Imaging

The Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging (AIMI) lab at the University of Bern's ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research invites applications from research scientists and engineers with a strong background in machine learning and computer vision to work on innovative methods in the domains for surgical vision, surgical data science and biomedical image computing.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with excellent technical skills and track record (i.e. publications at top journals and conferences) to join our research group. We require outstanding researchers with in-depth technical skills in programming, deep learning, machine learning and computer vision. Candidates who have experience in working with image-guided surgery and visualization of data are of particular interest but is not mandatory. Candidates will be expected to create new state-of-the-art machine learning methods for applications in surgical vision.

The AIMI lab offers a creative and international environment to conduct competitive research in an interdisciplinary team. Strongly linked to the Bern University Hospital (Inselspital), the AIMI lab strives to provide a coherent and holistic view of how AI in healthcare can benefit patients, by designing and developing fundamental and translation research.
