Salary
£27511 to £40322 per annum, (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

Applications are invited for the above post in the Division of Epidemiology and Public Health, University of Nottingham, based at the City Hospital Campus. The successful candidate will join a team of researchers in the UK Centre for Tobacco and Alcohol Studies.

The post holder will work on a Cancer Research UK funded project investigating the effects of Standardised Packaging legislation and European Tobacco Products Directive on tobacco products pricing, market and smoking behaviour.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant area, and demonstrate the ability to carry out complex data management and statistical analysis, as well as the necessary written communication skills required to write up the results for publication. The role holder will be supervised by Dr Ilze Bogdanovica at the University of Nottingham.  

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2022. The post will be offered on a full time basis (36.25h per week), however the post is open to part time working minimum 29h per week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
