Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 498328) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline, with experience in tissue culture and basic molecular biology work. Experience in animal work would be an added advantage. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Those who intend to pursue further postgraduate study with strong motivation are also welcome to apply. The appointee will assist in a funded research project on the role of a novel gene in the regulation of lipid metabolism in mouse model.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
