The position offers the possibility of a doctorate in Oldenburg and Groningen. The aim of the basic and translational research project is to characterize the interactions of proteins with a potential role in the development of the nervous system with the machinery for cellular quality control. Methodologically, the main focus is on cell culture-based methods, histological and immunohistological procedures, detection methods at the protein level, animal experiments and microscopy techniques. Preferably, you have a background in cell or molecular biology, proven initial practical experience as well as team spirit and enjoy interdisciplinary work.
