Research Assistant I/II in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503717) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in biology, biomedical science or a related discipline, with experience in tissue culture, molecular biology techniques (such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR and sequencing), and designing and optimising PCR and sequencing protocols. The appointee will handle clinical specimens such as nasopharyngeal swabs, and perform RNA extraction, PCR and sequencing.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
