Salary
£27025 to £39609 per annum, (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £30395 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance


We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Research Associate/Fellow to join a strong team of researchers and clinicians working in lung cancer epidemiology and health services research in Nottingham, with a primary focus on using The National Lung Cancer Audit to measure variations in cancer care in the UK. This provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a team who are looking to directly influence and improve the care of people in the UK with lung cancer.

 

You will be expected to deliver the analyses for the main reports from the Lung Cancer audit which will involve working with the National Lung Cancer Audit team. The data for the analyses are provided by Public Health England and we have established protocols for analysing the data using STATA.

 

You will be involved in all stages of study design, data collation, data management/validation and manipulation, statistical analysis, and interpretation of findings. You will be supported in this work by a team of researchers with experience of this data-set and these analyses.

 

This post will be offered on a fixed term until 31 March 2020. This is a full-time time role (36.25 hours per week) or part-time to a minimum of 20
hours per week.
