As exploring the biological basis of interventions for the long-term protection against frailty associated with chronic illness and aging.

Based within the Centre for Muscle Research in the Department of Physiology and School of Biomedical Sciences at The University of Melbourne’s Parkville Precinct, the Research Fellow will work as part of a collaborative team examining in vitro and in vivo mammalian models using a range of methodologies, including recombinant viral vector-based gene delivery, with the ultimate aim to demonstrate whether interventions that modulate the TGF network can exert health benefits, which would support the advance of these concepts to human trials.
