Reporting to the relevant senior academic within the Department of Physiology, the Research Fellow is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the University, in particular on how the brain processes sensory information, with a focus on individual neurons and the networks in which they are embedded, using advanced electrophysiological and optical techniques.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

  • Development of a limited amount of research-related material for teaching or other purposes
  • Experimental design and operation of advanced laboratory and technical equipment or conduct of advanced research procedures
