Be part of our future! Why does the immune system attack the brain in patients suffering from Myelin Oligodendrocyte-associated Disease and which role do T cells play in neuroinflammation? Your position We are studying the T cell-CNS axis in autoimmune diseases. We work with clinical samples from human patients as well as in vitro models to address our questions. The tasks for master students include the planning and execution of experiments, e.g. generation of T cell lines, protein expression on tumor cell lines, as well as a phenotypical and functional characterization of such cells using technologies including flow cytometry and microscopy, among others.
