Deadline for application The Large Animal Teaching Hospital and Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences af University of Copenhagen The UH-LA is a well-equipped large animal hospital including ceiling mounted DR xray, several high-level ultrasound machines dedicated for various purposes, scintigraphy and several surgical theatres with fluoroscopy. During the fall of 2023 we will finalize installation of a state-of-the-art Canon large bore CT scanner on the Qalibra platform. In addition to the specialized imaging team including two ECVDI Diplomates and several radiographers, we are two Diplomates in large animal surgery (ECVS), two Diplomates in equine medicine (ECEIM) and an ISELP certified lameness clinician. We can offer a great working environment with a dedicated staff working evidence based and keen on discussing cases and developing all aspects of our diagnostic services for the benefit of our patients, clients, students, and staff. All our activities with teaching of students as well as a very diverse range of pre-clinical, translational, and clinical research portfolio in orthopaedics, abdominal disease, upper respiratory disease and cardiology in horses and humans are deeply integrated.
