Overview This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay. Ideal start date is before September 1st. Tufts University School of Dental Medicine seeks a Senior Research Technician to work under Dr. Russell Taichman. The research encompasses gene expression in bone formation, stem cell biology, and translational studies on bone metastasis, osteonecrosis, and dental implant osseointegration. State-of-the-art investigations utilize advanced techniques such as 3D tissue-engineering models and transgenic models to investigate mineralized tissue biology, mechanisms of metastasis and to develop innovative therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes.
Under supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Senior Research Technician will conduct a variety of routine experiments by following established procedures and protocols.
