About the Role

To provide senior statistical support for the design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials. And to undertake research investigations and lead/contribute to funding applications in collaboration with principal investigators and collaborators. 

About You

Candidate is expected to have a PhD/DPhil qualification in statistics or related quantitative field with experience in carrying out research related to health or health care.

This post is based within the Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CV CTU) at the William Harvey Research Institute. CV CTU is part of the Barts Clinical Trials Unit, a UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered CTU. Our mission is to support cardiovascular research by delivering excellence in the design, conduct, and dissemination of clinical trials with the aim of improving patient care.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is full time or part time (minimum: 17.5 hours per week, 0.5FTE) fixed-term appointment for 1 year in the first instance, with an expected start date of Sept 2020. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £47,325 - £52,833 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance. Queen Mary’s commitment to our diverse and inclusive community is embedded in our appointments processes.
