The Opportunity
The UNSW Medicine and Health’s School of Population Health is a leader in public health and health leadership and management education. Our Master of Health Leadership and Management program is the oldest in Australia, providing generations of health leaders with the skills to transform the health of populations and health systems. The Senior Lecturer – Integrated Care will contribute to teaching and curriculum development in the Master of Health Leadership and Management program, with a focus on integrated care and quality improvements in health. This role will directly influence the School’s strategy of delivering educational offerings that reflect the changing needs of population health and health systems. The School of Population Health is internationally recognised as a leader in public health and health services research and has a core mission to transform people’s health and health systems through excellence in population health research. The School conducts cross-disciplinary research with academia, community and industry and has strong associations with research centres and institutes throughout UNSW Medicine and Health. The School of Population Health supports research-active academics to conduct high-quality research that addresses current and emerging population health challenges and priorities. The Senior Lecturer – Integrated Care will be an independent researcher and will be expected to actively advance their research profile through publications in peer reviewed journals, applications for competitive funding, higher degree student supervision and contributions to academic administrative functions in the School of Population Health.
