The appointed candidate will be enrolled in the Wallenberg Center for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) at Lund University. The position is time-limited to five years with the possibility for promotion to Senior Lecturer. BackgroundData-driven Life Science (DDLS) leverages data, computational methods, and artificial intelligence to study biological systems at all levels, from molecules to ecosystems. The SciLifeLab and Wallenberg National Program for DDLS aims to recruit and train the next generation of data-driven life scientists and build world-leading computational and data science capabilities in Sweden. The program is funded with 3.3 billion SEK (~350 MUSD) over 12 years by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW). The DDLS program supports 50 junior group leaders (“Fellows”), over 210 postdoctoral positions, and a research school for 260 PhDs.
