PositionPermanent position as Senior Lecturer in Virology based at the Department of Translational Medicine or Department of Laboratory Medicine. The departmental affiliation will be decided at the time of appointment. There is an opportunity to combine the position with clinical work, which will also be decided at the time of appointment. DutiesThe position aims to strengthen and bridge strategically important research in medical experimental virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research at the Lund University Virus Centre (LUVC), a newly established research centre with modern laboratories and an integrated biosafety level 3 laboratory. The LUVC promotes cooperation between researchers, healthcare, industry, and society to increase knowledge of viral diseases and develop new prophylactic, therapeutic, and diagnostic tools.
