The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science is an innovative and forward thinking school at University of Nottingham. This is demonstrated by our new ambitions plans to dramatically increase our student numbers by moving to a duel intake system. In September 2019 we will have 150 undergraduate students starting with us, with a further 150 due to start in April 2020.  We have been consistently ranked #1 in NSS survey since our first graduating cohort in 2011 and in the most recent REF we ranked 2nd in the UK for research power. We are also the only veterinary school who are holders of an ASPIRE award, recognising our excellence in student engagement.

As part of our new plans to double our student intake, we are seeking a number of key staff to support our School in order to continue to deliver at the same high standard we have become well known for.

You will be a key part of the stage of our exciting journey, as we look to continue to push the boundaries and develop a world leading Veterinary School.

We are seeking a Teaching Associate/Clinical Assistant Professor in Farm Animal Medicine to play a key role in design and delivery of an innovative farm animal curriculum as part of an internationally recognised team of clinical teachers. The main focus of the role will be outside of clinics, but the successful applicant would be required to deliver some clinical work through our clinical associate practices.
