The School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation and allied health professions.

The School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Associate to undertake teaching and provide support as a member of the Mental Health field teaching team within the BSc in Nursing programme, the Graduate Entry Nursing programme and, or, post graduate modules where appropriate. We are specifically looking for applicants with expertise in CAMHS, trauma informed care such as distress tolerance and dialectical behaviour therapy, or autism. 

The Role holder will have specific responsibility for identifying the learning needs of students and ensure that the content, methods of delivery and learning materials meet the defined learning objectives of the relevant courses.

Candidates must have a Masters degree or equivalent, be registered with the NMC and have significant experience working in a Mental Health setting. The candidate must also have some formal or informal teaching experience. 

The role will be based at the Nottingham centre (QMC) and is a permanent, full time position (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
